Texas Nurses Association District 9 Foundation Announces the 34th Annual Nursing Celebration
HOUSTON, Texas — The Texas Nurses Association District 9 Foundation is proud to announce the 34th Annual Nursing Celebration, to be held on Friday, November 13, at the Bayou City Event Center.
This year’s celebration will transport guests into the glamour and elegance of Old Hollywood, creating an unforgettable evening of sophistication, recognition, and inspiration. As the red carpet is rolled out, the true stars of healthcare, our nurses, will take center stage.
Representing the 11 counties of the Greater Houston-Galveston region, the Annual Nursing Celebration is one of the area’s premier events dedicated to honoring nurses whose compassion, leadership, innovation, and commitment have made an extraordinary impact on the lives of patients, families, colleagues, and communities.
Throughout the evening, the Foundation will recognize and celebrate:
- Recipients of nursing scholarships and nursing research grants
- The 2026 Outstanding Nurse Honorees
- The recipient of the Dorothy Otto Lifetime Achievement Award
